Abdul Waris Cisse  (Iman Paya) is a son of the soil. A native of Dobile, a section of Wa in the Upper west region Wa, Ghana and a Wangala by tribe.

Since infancy, Iman Paya have passion for music and for that matter listens to music at his leisure time. He listens to Reggae dance hall music, but Batman(Samini)  music motivated him into music.

Iman Paya dropped out of school when he was in JHS 1 because destiny didn't permit him to further his  so he have to enter into business, now a professional carpenter. He grew up in the Upper West Region, Wa but built his music  career in the Ashanti Region and have his own record label known as  *"Paya Nation records."*

  Iman Paya released his last track on 5th of August. He have twenty-seven tracks and have so far released five singles and have performed in many shows across the Country. He recently came out with his first Album in this year(2019) entitled *"MY TIME"*
